Account concessions and rebates in NSW

The NSW Department of Trade and Investment provide energy rebates to support customers with special circumstances. The following rebates are available in NSW;

Low income household rebates. Applicable to customers who hold concession cards issued by the Federal Department of Human Services or the Department of Veteran affairs

Family energy rebate. The rebate applies to customers who get the Family Tax Benefit from the Federal Department of Human Services.

Life support electricity rebate. If a resident of a household depends on medical equipment that consumes electricity, an electricity rebate is applicable.

Medical energy rebate. In instances where temperature regulation is a medical necessity, a rebate for electricity applies.
